GOLD COINS: The currency of Sugar Rush Speedway. Used to pay entry fees for races as well as to buy, repair, and upgrade carts. Each racer can own a maximum of 999 coins.

POWERUP BOX: The closest thing Vanellope has to a true "inventory." It stores a single item (usually a powerup picked up during a race) until it's dropped or used. If another item is picked up while the box is occupied, the item that was stored is overwritten and lost. During races this isn't a big deal since the powerups regenerate periodically; the rest of the time she just has to be careful about how she carries things.
